Pure and Unrefined Shea Butter is a slightly yellowish or ivory colored natural fat extracted from the seed of the African shea tree by crushing and boiling. It nourishes the skin with ts Vitamins A, E and F content. Shea Butter is high in unsaponifiables (a type of fat). It has between 7-12% unsaponifiables, a relatively high amount when compared to other well-known skin emollients. Shea Butter has a high level of cinnamic acid, a natural sun screen and is also known to be anti-inflammatory. It may be used as a daily skin moisturizer that relieves acne problems, itching and eczema while restoring skin elasticity.

It is known to effectively diminish stretchmarks, blemishes, wrinkles and scarring. It provides relief for itchiness, skin rash, sunburn, skin peeling, razor irritation, terribly dry and flaky skin, cracked heels and chapped lips. It also has the ability to restore hair luster and eliminate scalp irritation from dryness and chemical hair treatments.
