I've tried matte lipsticks before and I stopped using them for a while since my lips ended up chapped and dry. When I tried VNM's matte liquid lipstick, it kept my lips moisturized and needed minimal touch-ups. The shade also looks good when I use them on my eyelids and cheeks.
